Job Title: Buyer
Department: Supply Management
Reports to: Category Manager/Director of Supplier Management
Position Overview:
Ensures timely delivery of all Purchase Orders in meeting with company goals and policies. Communicates with vendors and resolves issues that could result in late deliveries. Maintain accurate information in system (ODOO) regarding orders and deliveries.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create Purchase Requisitions, and release approved PO’s to vendors
-Confirm supplier delivery dates
-Update Vendor ETD in ODOO and other Logistics related tasks
-Operate as the major contact window with Customer Service Department for goods allocation under shipment planning
-Notify the Category Managers when there are any unresolved delivery issues.
-Source new vendors as required
-Arrange and attend vendor meetings at IC Intracom offices or vendor location
-Create and run related reports as required
-Take and file meeting minutes
-Other tasks as assigned CM or Director assign
-Strong communication skills in written English and written and spoken Mandarin
-Ability to ensure on time delivery and vendor performance
-Problem solving ability
-Interacts well with vendors, clients, managers and staff
-Ability to work productively and professionally with others
-Proficient with Microsoft Office
-Completes tasks accurately and on time
- ODOO Maintenance-Create and set up new VID and barcode
-Global System (Atals) data Maintenance
-Invoices, RFQ, PO, Product and Vendors data check in ODOO
-Settle QDR prior to transferring to CM.
-Coordinate with designers and vendors to implement new packaging
-Search for (new) potential vendors as replacement
-Collect samples from (new) potential vendors as replacement
-Collect cost from different vendors and come out BCD Report
-Collect the required certificaton and update in Atlas
-Vendor SOP confirmation
-Vendor visits with CM's upon arrangement
