Responsibilities:
1. Development of production concept; Conduct time analysis and line balance analysis.
2. Development of tools / equipment together with PT department.
3. Conduct layout planning, logistics planning and information flow planning.
4. Collaborate with the Engineer/Supervisor and production manager to plan resource allocation, including manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
5. Conduct time and motion studies to analyze the efficiency of laser cutting, metal bending, and laser welding processes.
6. Identify bottlenecks in the production workflow and propose data-driven solutions to optimize productivity.
7. Optimize the layout of the metal shop to enhance workflow and reduce material handling time.
8. Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
9. Analyze production data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
10. Work with the production team to provide training on new processes and techniques for improved efficiency.
11. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to identify cost-effective solutions and improve the supply chain.
12. Other tasks assigned by manager.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree, major in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2. Min. 5 years job experience in an industrial manufacturing company, preferably in metal fabrication.
3. Knowledge of production concepts and production planning tools like time analysis (especially MTM), Line balancing, layout design, P-FMEA, etc.
4. Knowledge of optimization tools like Value stream mapping, 6sigma, ect.
5. Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Proficient in data analysis and report generation.
8. Good knowledge in Microsoft Office and CAD.
9. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
